Evidence-Based, Culturally Affirming Spanish AAC

“It is not enough to simply translate the same vocabulary into a different language” (Soto & Yu, 2014).

We believe bilingual Spanish language intervention must be rooted in current Spanish lexicon research.

We seek to empower and educate professionals and caregivers in supporting AAC users in their heritage language.

We want a safe and inclusive space centering Latino AAC users and families.
